Luke Dashjr and supporters tried activating a Bitcoin hard fork using BLAKE2b proof of work on September 1. The minority chain mined only two blocks before stalling more than 240 blocks behind. OCEAN pool hash rate collapsed 96 percent after routing to the new chain.
