Bitget Begins Phased Withdrawals After $388M Exploit

Bitget started phased resumption of customer withdrawals on September 28 four days after an attacker drained roughly $388 million. The attacker exploited a third-party security product to obtain internal credentials and issued fraudulent withdrawal commands. ZachXBT publicly identified five launderers moving the stolen funds on behalf of North Korea-linked actors.
