Blockstream publicly refused a ransom demand for the remaining 600 BTC stolen in the Liquid Network sidechain exploit. Attackers had posted an on-chain message offering partial return in exchange for no further action. The protocol resumed some operations but kept peg-outs disabled during recovery.
