Cetus Protocol, a major decentralized exchange and liquidity provider on the Sui blockchain, was exploited for roughly $220 – $260 million. The attacker took advantage of a vulnerability in the protocol’s smart contract/overflow handling logic, allowing them to manipulate liquidity and drain multiple pools in under 15 minutes.
