Jihan Wu, co-founder of Bitmain, became one of the most influential and controversial figures for his role in the Bitcoin Cash vs BTC era. Wu backed BCH to address BTC's transaction limits, contrasting with BTC's SegWit soft fork; this stance fueled market volatility, with BCH briefly surpassing $2,000 in December 2017.
