In June 2022, ZachXBT published a comprehensive investigation alleging Jeffrey Huang ('Machi Big Brother'), misappropriated over $37M from various projects and community funds across 21+ connected wallets. The investigation detailed suspicious fund movements, treasury misuse, and questionable transactions. In response, Huang filed a defamation lawsuit in June 2023 attempting to silence the investigation. The crypto community rallied behind ZachXBT, raising over $1 million for legal defense within days. Huang eventually withdrew the lawsuit after ZachXBT made minor edits to the original report.
