#WeAreAllHodlonaut: Bitcoin Community Rallies Against Craig Wright

When pseudonymous Bitcoin maximalist @Hodlonaut (creator of the Lightning Torch experiment) called Craig Wright a fraud on Twitter, Wright's lawyers sent legal threats demanding a public apology and acknowledgment that Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto. Wright also placed a bounty to dox Hodlonaut's real identity. The community response was immediate: hundreds of Bitcoiners changed their avatars to Hodlonaut's cat-astronaut image, Lightning Labs' Elizabeth Stark launched a legal defense fund that hit its goal almost instantly, and Binance CEO CZ delisted Wright's BSV coin. Lawyer Preston Byrne offered pro bono assistance. Hodlonaut ultimately won in Norwegian court in 2022, with the judge ruling Wright failed to prove he is Satoshi.
